We are a family who got involved in what I thought would be a small hobby. It ended up being something so much more, with all the friends, acquaintances and accumulated pets that have passed through our lives. I never thought in 1983 with the purchase of our first 'show' Dalmatian prospect that our lives would change so much.

I began with Dalmatians in 1983 and decided in 1996 to perhaps go with a smaller breed. I was first introduced, not formally, but through the power of a magazine cover with the Standard Manchester Terrier. That dog was Ch. Salutaire Word to the Wise and so begam my introduction to the breed.

We have been fortunate in the last 10 plus years to have owned wonderful pets, as well as show dogs. In 2001, we lost our dogs, and through a friendship made, acquired the start of our new dogs. At this time, we are the proud owners or breeders of Multi-Best In Show, Multi-Specialty, Multi National Sweepstakes winners, Best Puppy In show and Terrier Group winners. I can't say enough about the luck I had in getting MBISS Am/Cdn Ch Kreuzritters BlueMoon Rising AOM ROM (Cosmo) from Tina Sandford (Kreuzritter) as an eight week old. Or even luckier that she brought him to me; he is my one in a million and certainly a dog that makes us all think.

I look forward to even more years in this breed and more friends that I count on for support, assistance and just generally, good times. A hobby was started, but a whirlwind of surprises were only beginning.
